The Ghana Police have reportedly arrested the man who was seen physically assaulting and manhandling a toddler in a viral video.
In a viral video, the suspect, Richard Kofi was seen manhandling and beating the boy mercilessly under a tree which another person recorded and it circulated on social media.
It is unclear what the child did to warrant the beatings, notwithstanding the fact that the assault was against the Children’s Act 1998 as well as the Criminal code of Ghana.
The Police upon seeing the video, placed a GH2000 bounty on the head of the suspect.
The suspect was arrested at Akaa Buem in Jasikan, in the Volta Region, on October 5, 2202.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service is yet to officially address this development.

The (1 minute and 19 seconds) video capture the man severely molesting and beating a toddler under a tree.
