Former President John Dramani Mahama has described the current NPP government as clueless and callous.
According to him, Ghanaians voted for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2016 general elections due to the promises made by the NPP in the hope that their problems would be resolved.
Mr. Mahama made this statement today, Thursday, March 2, during the official launch of the John Mahama campaign in the Volta Region.
He accused the Akufo-Addo government of being clueless and, in many ways, callous in leading Ghana to bankruptcy.
“This government has been clueless, and in many ways callous, the unthinkable has happened, and our country today is broken on all fronts, Ghana is bankrupt.”
“We are saddled with debts we simply can’t pay, we have suffered the global humiliation of defaulting on our debts and being downgraded by credit rating agencies to the lowest level ever seen in our history.”
“Our economy is in the worst ever shape with suffering and pain on an unprecedented level,” Mahama stated.
