President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will address the nation tonight on measures taken so far against the COVID-19 pandemic.
He is expected to speak about the rise in cases, the new variant and the possibility of another lockdown.
He is also expected to throw more light on the reopening of schools and the reduction of COVID-19 test fee from 150 Dollars to 50 at the Kotoka International Airport.
Currently, 405 persons have died out of COVID-19.
The number of active cases in a few weeks have jumped to 4,665, an alarming situation calls for an immediate address and action.
The President speaks at exactly 8 p.m.
