Amerado drops seven track EP, ‘Patience’

Ghanaian fast-rising rapper born and raised in Kumasi, Derick Sarfo Kantanka known in showbiz as Amerado after several hit songs, collaborations and popular Yeete Nsem, has released a mini album titled “Patience”.

The seven well written, arranged and produced tracks feature Ghanaian heavyweight dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, Fameye, Black Sheriff, YPee, Kwaku Flick, Kojo Luda, Aba Rainbow, 4tune, Adomakye, Benerl.

The entire project, ‘Patience EP’ owes production credit to ItzJoeBeatz, Samsney and ItzCJMadeIt. It was mixed and mastered by Azee Ntwene and Apya.

Amerado’s career began  in 2015 when he took part in Kumasi based Solid FM Freestyle Show where he emerged third. He got nationwide attention last year when he took over the internet by storm with his weekly rap freestyle – ‘Yeete Nsem’

On 1 October 2020, the founding father of the popular music genre hiplife, Reggie Rockstone took to his Twitter page to announce Amerado as one of the best rappers to ever come from Ghana.

In August 2021, Amerado had a freestyle & interview session with Tim Westwood on Capital Xtra in London and GRM Daily reported his freestyle session as one of the best on the show.
