Asiedu Nketiah gives Koku Anyidoho a sound thrashing  

 

Asiedu Nketia has retained his position as the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress by beating his main challenger, Koku Anyidoho with a huge margin.

According to the results, Koku Anyidoho, affectionately called the “Bull” got a paltry 1625 votes out of the potential 9000 votes.  

Asiedu Nketia, also called General Mosquito, had 6642 votes.

General Mosquito has thus, secured a term to run the affairs of the party.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) its 9th National Delegates Congress at the Fantasy Dome of the International Trade Fair Centre in Accra on Saturday 17th November 2018.

About 9,000 delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) voted to elect new executives ahead of the 2020 elections.

The elections which has been described as the longest party elections, started on Saturday afternoon and ended around 10 am on Sunday.
