Member of Parliament for Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem Constituency, Hon. Samuel Atta Mills, has alleged that the fracas that broke out at the Asomdwoe Park yesterday, 24th July,2024 when the 12th Anniversary in remembrance of deceased former President was held, was orchestrated by Koku Anyidoho’s rented crowd.
Mr. Samuel Atta Mills, brother of the late John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills, expressed immense shock at the behavior of Koku Anyidoho after the demise of the former President. He revealed that Mr. Anyidoho just hired some people to attend the event under the pretext of being Prof Mills’ family members just to disgrace the family and the NDC because of hatred.
Koku Anyidoho is a former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, and former aide to John Evans Atta Mills. Since the death of his boss, Mr. Anyidoho has been involved in an intense feud with the family of the deceased statesman.
Speaking on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with sit-in host, Ekow Budu-Sam, the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem legislator in his response to Koku Anyidoho’s disagreements with the NDC over Mills’ death, indicated that the family has the sole right over their kinsman whether dead or alive.
“We as a family will resist Anyidoho with all our might. He is a drunkard. He can’t dictate to us. He is not a family member so what is his interest? He has no right to demand the autopsy report. He is from the Volta Region and they practice patrilineal system of inheritance, ours is matrilineal. He should stay in his lane,” he said.
