Certified results from the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency indicate that the New Patriotic Party candidate Lydia Alhassan won the elections with 39,851 votes.
National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Setor Dumelo pulled 37,778 votes out of the total votes count.
PNC’s candidate Gifty Botchway secured 160 votes, whereas the independent candidate Richard Mawuli had 108 votes.
