Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia remains the frontrunner to lead the NPP in 2028, according to the latest Global InfoAnalytics poll.
He commands 48% support among NPP voters, ahead of Kennedy Agyapong (25%) and Dr. Osei Adutwum (13%).
Despite his 2024 defeat, Bawumia’s strong standing suggests he could lead the party’s comeback bid.

With John Mahama’s ineligible to run in 2028, Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang leads the NDC’s succession race with 26% support, followed by Haruna Iddrisu (19%) and Ato Forson (12%).

On governance, 56% of Ghanaians believe corruption has improved, and 51% say their standard of living has risen.
The Ghana Police remains the most corrupt institution, while illegal mining (galamsey) and power supply (dumsor) show mixed public opinions.
