Be Cautious of Agrada’s Influence – Bengazy Warns Politicians

Bengazy

Communications team member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Benjamin Gyewu-Appiah, popularly known as Bengazy, has cautioned politicians and public figures to be extremely careful in their dealings with evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, alias Agrada.

His caution comes in the wake of the ongoing scandal involving Acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board (GOLDBOD), Sammy Gyemfi, who was recently caught in a viral video that shows him allegedly handing out U.S. dollars to Agrada

Speaking on NEAT FM, Bengazy noted that while Sammy Gyemfi may not be entirely to blame for the incident, the association with Agrada was spiritually risky.

He added that the saga should serve as a wake-up call to Sammy Gyemfi, especially considering his vocal criticism of others in public discourse.

“This is a lesson to Sammy Gyemfi — you can’t speak against others strongly and not expect to be held to the same standard.”

Despite the controversy, Bengazy disagreed with calls for Sammy Gyemfi’s dismissal, arguing that the young politician is performing impressively at GoldBod.

“The results from GoldBod are evident — it’s a positive step for mother Ghana, and Sammy Gyemfi deserves credit,” – he emphasized.

The dollar-gifting incident has triggered widespread debate, with many questioning the propriety of the act and others calling for restraint and perspective.

Agrada, known for her controversial past and spiritual claims, has yet again found herself at the centre of national controversy, raising questions about the boundaries between politics, religion, and public accountability.
