Be moderate and sensitive when jubilating- Akufo-Addo to NPP supporters

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has asked supporters of the NPP to be moderate and sensitive to public order when jubilating.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in a Facebook post asked the supporters of the NPP, not to be aggressive when the results of the Elections are officially declared by the Electoral commission.

“Dear NPP Supporter, When you win an election, you don’t need to be aggressive. Be of good character and wait for the Electoral Commission to declare. And when you jubilate, be moderate and sensitive to public order and safety,” the president said in a Facebook post.

Although the Electoral Commission is yet to declare the official results of the Presidential elections, the two main political parties, New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC), are both claiming to have won the elections.

In a related development, the Supporters of the NDC have stormed the office of the EC to protest certified parliamentary results released by EC.
