Travelers from countries with over 200 confirmed cases of Coronavirus won’t be allowed into the country according to Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
This forms part of measures by government to tackle the pandemic, which has now increased from two to six cases in the country.
However Ghanaians and residents with permits will undergo a mandatory quarantine for 14 days. The measures will start from Monday March 16, 2019.
The government is also conducting contact tracing for over 170 people who may have come into contact with the six persons who have tested positive.
