Communications Director for NADMO, George Ayisi has urged the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng to continue to do his work despite challenges.
This follows complaints from the Special Prosecutor over how frustrating the fight against corruption has become in the country.
Few weeks ago, Kissi Agyebeng lamented over how the courts have been in haste to throw is cases .
He also revealed that his office was facing doom as a result of the recent judgment on the Labianca case.
According to the Kissi Agyebeng, the trend will only open the floodgates for suspects to demand the halting of investigations against them.
His complaints have since sparked a lot of reactions from Ghanaians.
Recently, Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, reiterated his stance that the creation of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) was an “act in futility”.
According to him, ahead of the passage of the Office of the Special Prosecutor Act, 2017, (Act 959) by Parliament, he disagreed with the House but despite warning that the passage of Act 959 would not help curb corruption, the House went ahead to pass the act.
Amidst that, Kissi Agyebeng has also come under attack for allegedly demanding for vehicles worth GH¢30m in 2021 to aid his work.

Speaking on Atinka Tv’s morning show, Ghana Nie with Bernard Lav, George Ayisi said although the fight against corruption has become difficult, Kissi Agyebeng should keep pushing.
He admitted that as a country that has started fighting corruption, there will some challenges.
“When you look at things, the fight against corruption is difficult. When you take a step, you will realise someone will pass the other way, some one will sue him in court and others. These are challenging times but I feel that he should continue to push forward,” he said.
Meanwhile, George Ayisi noted that government has committed a lot of resources needed by the OSP to work, saying that he should recruit whoever he needs to work with and go ahead to execute his job as expected.
