Council of State: ET Mensah gets 100% as three withdraw from race

Veteran politician, ET Mensah, will represent the Greater Accra Region on the Council of State after securing a resounding victory at the polls.

All the 58 delegates in the Region voted for him after three candidates-Charles Andrew Parker- Allotey, Nene Kanor Attiapa III, and NII Kotei Dzani withdrew from the race .


55 year old Charles Andrew Parker- Allotey, a communication expert announced his withdrawal officially when he was delivering his manifesto .

The other two candidates failed to turn up at the election grounds.

Six persons filed to contest to represent the Greater Accra Region on the Council of State in President Akufo-Addo’s second term. The six are: 74-year -old Accountant, Enoch Teye Mensah (ET Mensah), 73 year -old Michael Kofi Mensah, a Management Consultant, John Mantse Akwetey, a 34 -year old Communication specialist, Nene Kanor Attiapa III, a 75 -year old farmer.

The rest are, NII Kotei Dzani, 42, an Economist and Charles Andrew Parker- Allotey, a 55 year old Communication Expert.
