COVID-19: Akosombo Intl. School adopts shift system to curb infections

Management of Akosombo International School(AIS) has adopted a shift system for all students as a measure to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Eighty-two Covid-19 positive cases have been recorded at the Akosombo International School in the Eastern Region.

However, a statement signed by the Director of Communications of the school indicated that, currently the school has screened all staff and students adding that, those who were infected by the virus are doing well under the management and treatment by the VRA medical team.

It stated that, all precautionary measures such as, temperature checking, social distancing, hand washing and sanitizing continues to be observed with strict adherence.

Management of the school urged parents and the public to remain calm, adding that they shall be given periodic updates on the development.
