The Former Member of Parliament(MP) for Ningo Prampram, E.T Mensah has been rushed to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) to receive treatment after he tested positive for COVID-19.
Reports indicate that before he was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday, he had difficulty in breathing.
By his current status, he becomes one of the high profile members of the ruling NPP who have tested positive for the virus, including the Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu and Dan Botwe who have recovered from the disease, unlike Sir John who lost his life to COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s positive cases has jumped to 25,430, with 3,780 active cases.
