Ghana’s recovery rate currently stands at 98.5%, the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said.
The President said this while addressing the nation for the 18th time following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020.
Akufo-Addo added that Ghana has been spared of further restrictions in the management of the country’s COVID-19 case count
“We have also improved considerably the availability of PPEs for hospitals. There have been no calls on shortages in the hospitals so far,” he added.
He, however, called on Ghanaians to maintain a positive outlook in the management Ghana’s COVID-19 cases especially in the build-up to the Dec 7 Presidential and parliamentary elections.
Ghana has recorded a total of 47,232 cases, Of which 46,578 have recovered.
The death toll remains 310.
