Gospel trio, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, has honoured Atinka Media Village as part of its 30th Anniversary .
The trio made up of Cynthia Appiadu, Edna Sarpong and Monica Owusu Ansah visited the premises of Atinka Media Village on Friday to present a citation and cake to express their gratitude to the media house for their unflinching support throughout their 30-year musical journey.
The Daughters of Glorious Jesus expressed their gratitude to the Managing Director of Atinka Media Village, Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour for his contribution towards their musical career over the past 30 years.
“We are very grateful for the support, this is our little way of saying thank you. It’s being a wonderful 30-year musical journey and we appreciate your effort”, Edna Sarpong , a member of the trio said.
Gospel trio, Daughters of Glorious Jesus made their debut musical appearance in 1990 with hit” Anwanwa Do”. They released” Mebo Yesu Din Daa” in 1992, two years after which won Entertainment and Critics Association of Ghana (ECRAG), Best Gospel Group in 1992.
The trio has to their credit hit songs like Mebo wo din daa, Edin no, Asomdwoe hene, Tumi wo mu, Fata ayeyie, Ewurade, Yesu, woye m’ade nyinaa, Aseda ben, Yeyi waye, Okasa preko, Fa wasem to Awurade anim, Momma yenben Awurade, Odomfo, Onakwafo Nyame.
