Member of Parliament (MP) for Ejura Sekyedumase, Mr Bawa Braimah Mohammed says the Heads of Institution that took delivery of the laptops donated by some gay persons must be dealt with.
He was of the belief that the Heads of Institutions have a bigger responsibility to shape the life of the child as to what he or she will become in future, not just about the teaching so the Head of Institutions must be held responsible for what has happened.
It was reported that scouts of LGBTQ+ crusaders are making discrete incursions into campuses of Junior High Schools and Senior High Schools across the country, luring teenagers with assorted goodies to influence them to join the obnoxious activities of gays and lesbians.
Undercover investigations by the Vanguard newspaper in selected schools in Ashanti, Greater Accra, Eastern and Central Regions have established that the scouts are operating under different non-governmental organisations (NGO’s), brandishing non existence tags and are distributing laptops programmed with pornographic contents which seems to attract the youths in their large numbers.
Additionally, underground youth groups have been formed and fluid nature of pornographic contents are distributed unto their mobile phones and iPad.

Speaking on Atinka TV‘s morning show, Ghana Nie with Ekourba Gyasi Simpremu, Mr Bawa Braimah Mohammed said,”If you are a head of an educational institution and we entrust you with our children, you have a bigger responsibility in shaping the child, it is not just about the learning. When a child is sent to school, the school life also helps shape his or her life as to what he can be in future and so if you are a head of school and we have brought our children to you and you allow for such things to take place in the school, then we have to find something to tell the Heads of the schools.”
Meanwhile, Mr Bawa Braimah Mohammed advised parents to make sure they pay close attention to the things their children do at school so that they do not bring such negative training home.
“I do not think any well meaning Ghanaian will be happy about this. Our law even frowns on it and so if something like this has happened and the names of the schools have been identified, I will urge the Ministry of Education to take action to it to prevent it from happening again,” he added.
