Following a continuous downpour in the Eastern Region, five people have been reported dead and ten are missing.
Several properties worth millions of cedis were also destroyed as a result of the three-day downpour.
Kwame Appaiah Koduah, the Eastern Regional NADMO Coordinator, stated that New Juaben North recorded two deaths, New Juaben South recorded one death, Denkyembour District recorded one death, and Akyemansa recorded one death.
He also stated that 10 missing people at Nsawam Adoagyiri cannot be accounted for.
Meanwhile, authorities are warning residents to be cautious because more rain is expected in the coming weeks.
