ET Mensah, former member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram constituency and former member of the Council of State, has passed on at the age of 77.
Mensah, the longest-serving Sports Minister in the history of Ghana reportedly died in South Africa on Sunday while seeking treatment.
Born on 17 May 1946, Enoch Teye Mensah served as education minister and member of parliament from January 1997 to January 2017. He also served as AMA boss at a point in time during PNDC era and later as Sports Minister between 1992 and 2000.
