37-year -old Evangelist Frederick Darko has been remanded into Police custody for allegedly sodomizing a 15 -year -old boy at Gomoa Nyanyano in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
Frederick Darko, a self-styled evangelist is said to have traditionally adopted the 15year -old boy two years ago but ended up sodomizing the child on several occasions .
According to the victim, the accused started the act under the guise of spiritual cleansing and that has been sodomizing him for the past years, and threatened him with death if he discloses it to anyone.

But the victim after severe illness and pain in the waist and the anus, opened up to the mother leading to the arrest of the suspect.
Presided over by His Worship, Ebenezer Osei Darko, the Ofaakor Circuit Court in the Awutu Senya East Municipality, remanded the suspect into police custody for two weeks to for further investigations.
He is scheduled to reappear in court Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
