Family demands trial of headmistress, hubby over boy found dead in car

Chiefs and family of the four-year-old boy who was found dead earlier at Akwamu New Senchi in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region, are mounting pressure on the Akosombo District Police to prosecute the headmistress of the C- Family International School together with her husband.

According to the family, the boy, Francis Kwasi Ayensu was found dead in a car parked on the compound of the C- Family International School, a private school at Senchi in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region.

The mortal remains of the boy were found in the car following an intensive search by the police. The proprietress, who was taking custody of him, earlier prevented everyone from entering the school premises to search for him on three different occasions.

According to the mother of the boy, Mrs. Ishetu Pupulampo, she sent her first daughter to go for the boy but Mrs Agbenyega, the headmistress, prevented her with the excuse that she would send the boy home whenever he wanted to.

Although it is not clear what led to his death, the incident is causing fear and panic in the area as residents claim that this is not the first time such thing has happened in same school.

They, however, called for a rigorous investigation into the C-Family International School.

Vida Agbenyaga, Proprietress of the school and her husband are currently being held by the Akosombo Police Command on charge of causing harm to the 4 -year -old.

The Akosombo District Police has transferred the body to Police Hospital morgue for autopsy as chiefs and people in the area call for justice.
