The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), cancelled the 2019/2020 football season following a meeting on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the GFA Secretariat in Accra.
Atinka Sports sources at the GFA said the decision to cancel the season was reached after the 12-member council led by FA Kurt Okraku sat in a meeting for hours.
Before the Premier League came to a standstill on match week 15, Aduana Stars was leading the table with 28 points.
