Surveillance officers will begin house-to-house COVID-19 testing on Monday as part of government’s plans to begin WHO implementation on testing protocols, Presidential Advisor on Health, Dr Nsiah Asare has said.
This forms part of government of Ghana’s efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus in Ghana.
Dr Nsiah Asare revealed this at the Ministry of Information’s Meet the Press Sunday afternoon.
“The more we test, the more we know the real numbers. So as we test some more the numbers will go up, so encourage the citizens and media not to be too worried when you see the numbers going up” he added.
Ghana’s coronavirus cases have climbed to 152 with Tamale recording 10 new cases.
Kumasi has also recorded one more case.
