Glint Africa has recognized the tremendous hard work of the two host of Atinka TV’s flagship reality show, Di Asa and intends to honour them at the upcoming Ghana Tertiary Excellence Awards.
The Event which is slated on the 9th October, 2021 will be held at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly-Tema Station.
Di Asa is a reality show that engages plus sized women around the sixteen regions in Ghana to compete together by showing their dancing moves.
Many Ghanaians have come to love the show due to its entertaining nature since the Maiden Edition down to the 5th Edition which is currently in progress.
The show has been the most viewed reality programme in Ghana as the two host, Ama Gyemfa Ofosu Darkwa popularly known as ‘Embosuohemaa or Di Asa Maame’ and Albert Johnson, also known as ‘Odeefuo or Di Asa Papa’ always grace our screens with some captivating and comic dancing moves.
Their commitment and hard work have contributed to the success story of DI ASA and deserve to be honoured.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Adwoa Annan, host of Juke Box Entertainment Show on Atinka TV, Nana Made in China, the host of the awards scheme, disclosed that, ‘Ama and Albert Johnson’s entertaining style of hosting the show, always entertain the audience and viewers at home, thus they need to be honoured.
He also congratulated Atinka Media Village for coming up with such an entertaining programme.
Di Asa’ DJ, popularly known as DJ Extra has also been nominated for the category of Best DJ, in the Ghana Tertiary Excellence Awards(GTEA).

Two plus size women, Salamatu Agyemang and Aba Grace have qualified at the Cape Coast audition of Atinka TV’s flagship reality show, GTBank Di Asa season five.
They were selected based on their weight, dance moves and audience appeal.
Salamatu Agyemang and Aba Grace will represent the Central Region in the main Di Asa season five competition after all auditions are done.
Salamatu Agyemang and Aba Grace were given souvenirs by all the sponsors of the show.
The GTBank Di Asa Season Five will award the ultimate winner with a brand new salon car.
The first runner up will be given a mini truck (Abossey Okai Macho), while the second runner up takes home a tricycle (Aboboyaa).
Aside these, the queens will also enjoy goodies from the sponsors of the show.
Meanwhile, the next audition will be held at Mankesim on Wednesday, October, 6th 2021.
