Ghanaian politician and former National Women’s Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita De Sosoo says God punished Ghanaians with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo hence the challenges facing the country .
According to her, God did not call Nana Addo to be President but he forced his way through, adding that his deeds have sold him out.
Former President, John Dramani Mahama secured overwhelming endorsement from Delegates of NDC to lead the party in the 2024 elections.
He secured 297,603 of votes cast representing 98.9% while Kojo Bonsu secured 3181 votes representing 1.1%.

Speaking on Atinka TV’s current affairs show, “The Agenda” with Nana Yaw Fianko after the NDC’s Presidential and Parliamentary Primaries, Anita De Sosoo said Ghanaians did not vote against John Mahama during the 2020 elections, saying everything now shows that the election was rigged.
She said from the beginning, the NDC, especially the women were not happy that Ghanaians did not give Mr Mahama a second term.
However, she said later, they all came to understand the work of God.
She thanked God that Akufo Addo was voted in to make the people know how competent Mahama was.
“If you are not born a leader, you will suffer. Nana is not a leader. What shows he is a leader? If God does not ordain you to lead and you force yourself, it will be in vain. He forced his way to be President and now his deeds have made the country worse and everyone is crying. So now, we are looking for a saviour who is JDM. As for Nana Addo, God brought him to pay us what we wanted. We said we wanted it, and if you say you want, what should God do?” she said.

Meanwhile, she said with whatever happened during 2020 the elections, she was happy that the enemies within, including those who were in charge of their strong room have been exposed.
She was sure that Mr Mahama was the best bet for the country to bring development, urging all those who won the elections during the primaries to work hard in unity to march the party forward during the next election.
To those Members of Parliament who lost their seats, Anita De Sosoo also advised them to come together and work with those who won to place the party at where it desires to be.
Meanwhile, she said Mr Mahama should maintain his running mate in the 2020 elections, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang for the upcoming 2024 elections.
