GRNMA distributes New Year package to members

The Greater Accra Chapter of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has begun the distribution of 2023 packages to its members in the region.

For the past years, the association has been distributing souvenirs, including diaries, pens, customized pen drives, nose masks, and hand sanitizer, to all qualified members, but this year a customized water flask was added.

Addressing the media after the distribution, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), Prince Opuni Frimpong indicated that the exercise forms part of the Association’s obligation to show its appreciation to the members.

He asked eligible members of the Association to contact their various District executives for the collection of their packages or dial the short code *928*8# to claim them.

Mr. Opuni seized the opportunity to encourage nurses and midwives who have not yet joined the association to do so in order to enjoy all the benefits the eligible members are enjoying now.

“I would like to encourage nurses and midwives who are not members of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association to contact any of their officers at any level for assistance, or better yet, use our online services to switch to the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association to enjoy all the benefits the association has for its members, including the lowest interest rate loan, land and mortgage schemes, among others,” he added.

He also advised members to check their pay slips on monthly basis to ensure that their dues are remitted to Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association in order not to be short changed in terms of benefits.
