Speaking at a press conference to unveil him as the new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual today Tuesday July 2, 2024 at the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Chef Ebenezer Smith expressed his profound gratitude to the general public for the support and prayers during the cook-a-thon.

He thanked his team and sponsors for standing by him throughout the Cook-a-thon record attempt.

“The moment of waiting has not been easy but by the grace of God, we didn’t end it after the cook-a-thon. We kept on praying, sowing seeds and believing that I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase and God has given us the increase.”

“Today is a very joyful day in my life. After the cook-a-thon, because of health challenges, we weren’t able to do a thank you tour and so now that finally we have been approved, we will reach out to every Ghanaian to say a thank you and God bless you for the amazing support,” Chef Ebenezer Smith exclaimed.
