The Police in Awutu Bontrase have arrested the headmaster of a basic school for allegedly attempting to rape a 15 year -old student of his school.
According to reports gathered by Atinka news’ reporter, Samuel Nyamekye Jnr, the suspect, John Mensah Pobee who heads the ST Joseph Catholic Basic School at Awutu Bontrase on Monday, February 5, 2024 handed over his helmet to the victim to take to his bungalow during game activities.
The headmaster, however, followed the victim and began fondling her breasts while attempting to have a sexual intercourse with her.
While on the act he was spotted by another student who had been sent by a teacher to call the headmaster for him.
The student sounded an alarm to draw the attention of teachers and other students who apprehended the headmaster and handed him over to the police at Awutu Bontrase who have since commenced investigations into the matter.
