The President of the High Tension Foundation, Madam Cecilia Agyeiwaa alias Akosua High Tension Ghana, has congratulated vice president-elect Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman on becoming the country’s first female vice president.
In her congratulatory message, Akosua Agyeiwaa, who is also a Deputy News Editor (Radio) at Tobinco Media Group (TMG) said Professor Naana Opoku Agyeman’s historic achievement is an inspiration to women and girls in Ghana, Africa, and the world over.
According to the High-Tension Foundation President, the Vice President-elect has demonstrated that it is possible for women to attain the highest office of the land with hard work and support from the Society.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank our Vice President-elect, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman, for this historic feat. You have always been an inspiration to me and many others, and this latest feat of yours is a massive one. I hope you succeed as Ghana’s first vice president. May God continue to bless you and make history,” Akosua Agyeiwaa stated.
Madam Agyeiwaa urged the incoming vice president to do more to improve the Gender Ministry when she assumes office next year.
