A driver running away from police arrest on Wednesday afternoon killed a mother of three and injured scores of people at the National Guard Unit of the Ghana Police Service, near the Kotoka International Airport.
The driver, who according to an eyewitness account, was evading arrest after knocking someone down near the Driver and Vehicle Licencing Authority (DVLA) ran into several shops, killing the woman in the process and also injuring many others.
