Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has positioned himself as the visionary leader poised to drive Ghana towards a prosperous future, highlighting his progressive agenda in contrast to the outdated leadership of former President John Dramani Mahama.
“This election is a clear choice between the future and the past. My opponent represents the past, and I, Dr Bawumia, represent the future of this country,” he said at the party’s final rally at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra,
“So, the choice that we have on Saturday, as we go to vote, is whether we want to go forward into the future or backwards into the past. A mindset of possibilities underpins us in the NPP and the work that we have done,” he added
“We believe that it is possible to transform this country into an advanced nation,” Dr Bawumia added.
