Ibrahim Mahama Covers Full Medical Bills for SDA SHS Shooting Victim – High Tension Foundation Confirms

Renowned Ghanaian businessman and philanthropist, Ibrahim Mahama, has pledged to cover the full cost of medical treatment and airfare for Suzzy Pinamang, the Adventist SHS student who was shot in the face by a fellow student in Bantama, Kumasi.

The announcement was made by the Executive Director of the Akosua High Tension Foundation, which has been leading a national appeal for support towards Suzzy’s treatment abroad. Suzzy, who sustained severe injuries from the shooting incident, is currently unable to walk without support and has been recommended for advanced medical care outside the country.

According to the Foundation, Mr. Mahama’s support will include both the cost of her flight and full medical expenses.

“This is a great relief,” – the Executive Director stated. “Ibrahim Mahama has taken full responsibility for Suzzy’s air ticket and medical bills abroad. We are deeply grateful for his swift and generous intervention.”

The philanthropic gesture comes at a time when public concern about Suzzy’s condition had sparked widespread appeals for help from the community and across the country.

Earlier, the Member of Parliament for Bantama, Hon. Asenso Boakye, pledged to support her travel arrangements, while former NUGS President Boakye Yiadom also made a donation toward her recovery.

The Akosua High Tension Foundation continues to urge the public to support Suzzy’s family and raise awareness on the need for improved student safety in schools.
