He was acknowledged at the 8th edition of the Ghana Entrepreneur and Corporate Executive Awards (GECEA) on April 28, 2018, here in Accra.

The  citation accompanying Dr Anyah's award said “within two (2) months of his appointment, there was an emergency acquisition of two high and Digital PBX equipment which is able to receive 30 calls concurrently; an integrated services digital network (ISDN) awaiting the installation of an end to end software that will ensure efficient bed management, improve security, minimize leakages and ensure greater efficiency in running the hospital; a next generation firewall, a set antivirus application software, CCTV and access controls and Microsoft office 365 application with two years renewable contract, among others”

Dr. Anyah, in an interview with Atinkaonline, explained that he runs the nation’s premier Teaching Hospital, a public sector entity just like a private sector entity hence the numerous achievements. ‘’Korle-Bu is not hard or difficult as others presume, I use an entrepreneurial private sector-led approach to issues in the public sector. I think that’s what I believe has provided solutions in Korle-Bu which is the public sector facility’’

Dr. Anyah further explained that Korle-Bu can be changed within some few months if the government is able to implement three core things: policy guiding projects, re-couching Korle-Bu to be a marketable institution and the review of the existing LI.
