FIFA's adjudicatory chamber of the independent Ethics Committee has compounded the woes of beleaguered Football Chief, Kwesi Nyantaki, by banning him for life from all football-related activities with immediate effect.
The disgraced ex -Ghana Football boss has also been fined 500,000 Swiss Francs by FIFA.
The damning verdict follows FIFA’s extensive investigation into alleged corruption in Ghana football triggered by investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ explosive investigation piece, “ Number 12”.
FIFA’s adjudicatory chamber established that Mr Nyantakyi violated Article 19 (conflict of interest), Article 21 (Bribery and corruption) and Article 22 (Commission) of the FIFA Code of Ethics, 2012 edition.
