Madina MP Honors Party Heroes, Launches GH₵1M Welfare Scheme

In a grand celebration of party loyalty and dedication, the Member of Parliament for Madina, Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu, launched a GH₵1,000,000 welfare scheme to provide medical and emergency support for branch executives across the constituency.

The scheme was announced during a vibrant Victory Party and Awards Night, organized by the Office of the Madina MP and the Constituency Executives, led by the newly nominated Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for La-Nkwantanang-Madina, Mr. Faila Fuseini Ibrahim.

The event honored the tireless efforts of 3,889 hardworking party members drawn from 321 polling stations.

Among those recognized were Ward Coordinators, Secretaries, Organizers, Zonal Leaders, Assembly Members, Unit Committee Members, Financiers, and Volunteers—key contributors to the party’s success in the recent elections.

In appreciation of their unwavering dedication, awardees received a variety of rewards including citations, certificates, motorcycles, tricycles, laptops, scholarships, job placements, foreign trips, and cash prizes.

These tokens were meant to inspire continued commitment and strengthen the grassroots base of the party.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sosu expressed deep gratitude to the party faithful, emphasizing that their relentless efforts were instrumental in expanding the party’s vote margins.

“This initiative is our way of saying thank you and ensuring that your sacrifices do not go unnoticed,” he said.

Mr. Faila Fuseini Ibrahim, the Constituency Chairman and incoming MCE, also praised the outstanding contributions of every party member, describing the event as a powerful testament to unity and loyalty.

Some award recipients, overwhelmed with joy, shared their appreciation with the media, lauding the MP’s leadership and his gesture of recognition.
