Medikal’s wedding military escorts arrested

Uniformed military men who served as escorts for rapper Medikal, born Samuel Frimpong, have reportedly been arrested and are being investigated.
Medikal and girlfriend, Fella Makafui held their traditional marriage ceremony in a star-studded ceremony in East Legon in Accra over the weekend.
Medikal had military escort as he made the grand entry into the event center where the ceremony was held.
This scene, however, did not go down well with the military apparatus who have sanctioned the arrest of these officers.
It is reported that the Head of Public Relations the Ghana Armed Forces, Colonel Eric Aggrey Quarshie, who disclosed this development to the media noted that Military officers in uniform making appearances at private events are becoming “one too many.
He added that these military officers usually do so minus consent from their superiors.
