The Mion-Lana, Naa Abdulai III has passed on.
Naa Abdulai known in private life as Abdulai Mahamudu died on Wednesday in Accra after a short illness.
Born in 1974, Mion Lana became Bolin-Lana at the age of 14, a day after his father was laid to rest.
He served as Bolin Lana for over 30 years.
He was enskinned as Mion Lana on Sunday March 3, 2019, at the Old Gbewaa Palace in Yendi.
He was the next in line after Yaa Naa Abukari Mahama II based on the rotational system of the Dagbon kingship.
