Ama Baduaa, a 65 -year -old woman who went missing on August 15, 2021 at Assin Bereku in the Central Region has been found dead.
This follows a search mounted by the Police, District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Ohene Andoh, and the elders of the town.
The lifeless and decapitated body was found on August 16, 2021 at the outskirts of the Bereku Township- about one kilometer from the town on the Assin Ntenkyemi footpath according to police report.
The police report said, the upper body of Baduaa was found at a nearby bush with the head decapitated adding that that the “lower part of her body from the abdomen to the legs” were found 20 meters away from the “first crime scene”
The report further said the deceased’s (missing woman) clothes and beads were found buried with the upper body .
The police report further states one Kojo Ackah identified the body as that of his missing mother.

A basin containing plantain sucker, maize, a cutlass and a red scarf belonging to the deceased was also found about 20 meters away
Madam Baduaa’s remains were conveyed to the St. Francis Xavier Hospital for preservation and autopsy as investigations continue .

One of the teenagers involved in the killing of a 10 year-old boy, Ismael Mensah Abdullah at Kasoa for money rituals has confessed that they killed a pregnant woman before killing the 10 year-old.
Although the first accused person confessed to the killing, his counterpart denied being involved in any killing.
The suspect made the revelation at the Kaneshie District Court presided over by Her Worship Rosemond Douduaa Agyiri on Monday, August 16, 2021.
According to him, the victim’s ghost was hunting him that he will kill him (Suspect) if he does not speak the truth, hence the revelation.
Two teenagers were arrested by the police in Kasoa in the Central Region, for their alleged involvement in a murder said to be related to money rituals.
The teenage boys, 16 and 18 years respectively, are said to have lured their victim, a 10-year-old boy identified only as Ishmael, into an uncompleted building and reportedly killed him.
They are said to have hit him with an object which resulted in his instant death.
The incident happened at the Kasoa suburb of Lamptey Mills on Saturday, April 3, 2021 between 5 and 6pm according to sources.
But some residents in the area said a fetish priest the suspects had contacted had told them to bring human parts for rituals.
The two who are juveniles, Felix Nyarko, 15, and Nicolas Kwake Kani, 18, were officially charged for the murder of a 10-year-old Ishmael Mensah Abdullah on April 2, 2021.
While in court, the Suspect murderer said, “Myself and Nicholas have killed a pregnant woman in the past but not in this case. We have killed a pregnant woman before. If Nicholas said he won’t tell the truth, I will speak the truth.”
Meanwhile, they are to appear at the High Court on September 20 for trial.
