On Sunday, a woman between the ages of 40 and 50, and her son Alexander Ofori, 28, were discovered dead in their three-bedroom apartment in Green Estate, a suburb of Nyame N’adom in the Gomoa East District.
A strong stench emanating from the house, according to residents, led them to the deceased’s room.
The police arrival indicated that the deceased had died several days before their discovery.
According to a police source, an Intel led them to the scene; the bodies of the victims have since been deposited at the morgue.
When the police arrived, the bodies of the deceased were nearly decomposed.
