A 33-year- old woman, Esi Akyere and her two children drowned in River Ayensu in the Central Region over the weekend .
Esi and her four children were returning from a neighbour’s cocoa farm when the tragedy occurred.
In an interview with Atinka News, Abusuapanin of Agona “Braha Be Kumi me ” , Peter Nyadigbe revealed that, the children decided to wash themselves in the river after working on the cocoa farm but they drowned in the process .
Peter Nyadigbe indicated that, the deceased Esi Akyere was able to save two of the children, but she couldn’t save the other two and got drown togther with them.
