Maame Asabea, Sister of alleged second wife of murdered Mfantseman MP, has debunked assertions suggesting that her elder sister Sarah Quansah Hayford lied about being married to the late MP for Mfantseman.
The Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency, Ekow Quansah Hayford, was shot dead by unknown assailants on Monday 9th October 2020.
After the demise of the MP a nurse and business woman in Takoradi, Sarah Quansah Hayford, has surfaced as the second wife of the late lawmaker.
There are, however, speculations suggesting that Sarah Quansah Hayford lied about being married to the late MP for Mfantseman.
Maame Asabea, Sister of the alleged second wife of murdered Mfantseman MP, who spoke on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Ekourba Gyasi revealed that the mother of the late MP and other family members, including the family head were present at the marriage between her sister and the late MP in Takoradi.
“ When the MP died, my sister was in the family house on Saturday and she was welcomed and well received by the mother and the family. So we were surprised that we were neglected during the one week memorial service. We were waiting to be acknowledged by the family but that never happened,” she explained.
