Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Atta Kofi, has urged fellow artists to deepen their musical knowledge by learning to play instruments, particularly the keyboard.
Speaking on Entertainment Lounge on Atinka TV, hosted by Odefour DiAsa Papa, he emphasized that true musicianship goes beyond just singing.
“As a musician or singer, you have to try learning how to use the keyboard—that’s what helped groom my music journey,” Atta Kofi stated.

Atta Kofi noted that while vocal talent is crucial, understanding musical instruments enhances creativity and professionalism. He encouraged artists to explore music schools or dedicate time to learning instruments, as it helps in composition, stage performance, and overall artistry.
“You don’t just have to be a singer; be an instrumentalist, be a complete musician,” he advised.
