The Nasser International Forum –Sudan Chapter has issued a strong statement condemning what it describes as “grave violations and atrocities” committed against civilians in the city of El Fasher, North Darfur, following recent attacks reportedly carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
In the statement released on Thursday, 30 October 2025, from Khartoum and Port Sudan, the Forum expressed “deep outrage” at the deliberate targeting of civilians, hospitals, and humanitarian facilities, labeling the acts as “flagrant breaches of international humanitarian law and human rights principles.”
“These crimes amount to war crimes and must not go unpunished,” the Forum declared, calling for immediate international action.
The organization urged the United Nations, African Union, and League of Arab States, as well as other international partners, to urgently intervene to protect civilians, ensure humanitarian access, and hold perpetrators accountable.
Emphasizing the urgent need for a ceasefire, the Forum called for the opening of humanitarian corridors and the protection of displaced and vulnerable populations, especially women and children, in accordance with international obligations.
Reaffirming its solidarity with the Sudanese people, the Forum appealed to all national actors to choose dialogue over violence and work toward a comprehensive and inclusive political settlement that restores stability, unity, and dignity to the nation.
“The Nasser International Forum – Sudan Chapter stands firm with every effort aimed at ending the suffering in Darfur and preserving Sudan’s territorial integrity and social fabric,” the statement concluded.
