NDC elections: Opare Addo, Hannah Bissiw retained

At the 10th National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth and Women Conference held on Saturday in Cape Coast, the Central Region, George Opare Addo, popularly known as “Pablo,” was re-elected as National Youth Organizer.

Opare Addo received 533 votes, while his opponent Brogya Genfi received 508 votes out of a total of 1036 cast.

Dr. Hannah Louisa Bissiw won the Women’s Organizer position with 433 votes, defeating Margeret Ansei, who received 362 votes

Osman Abdulai Ayariga and Ruth Dela Sedoh won the two Deputy positions with 373 and 313 votes respectively, whilst Abigail Elorm Mensah and Felicia Dxifa Tegah won the two Deputy Women Organizer positions with 348 and 260 votes respectively.

Delivering his victory speech, George Opare Addo urged party supporters to see the NPP as the enemy and advised them to work hard in unity towards the victory of the NDC in 2024.

Dr. Bissiw thanked delegates for their support and also urged party supporters to rally in unity towards 2024.
