NDC files official complaint over "double voting" at Klottey Korle

The leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has filed an official complaint with the Electoral Commission following allegations of double voting in the Klottey Korle constituency.

Speaking at a press briefing Monday 7th December 2020, the Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi said the party has lodged an official complaint to the EC over allegations of double voting at Klottey Korle.

According to him, some persons who participated in the special voting exercise voted again today.

Also speaking at the press conference, the Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, urged the party’s agents to be vigilant and not to sign pink sheets when there are discrepancies with the number of counted ballots.

He added that victory is at hand for the NDC and that they can’t afford to be complacent.

He urged supporters to keep track of the ballots and not take their eyes off them, no matter where they go.

Elvis Afriyie Ankrah alleged that there have been cases of ballot stuffing in Greater Accra, Eastern, Central and Ashanti Regions by suspected NPP supporters, that threaten to undermine the integrity of the polls.
