Member of Parliament for Assin South and Former Deputy Minister of Education Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, has declared that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia carries the blessings and divine anointing of God to lead Ghana into a prosperous future.
Speaking at Mankessim on Day 2 of Dr. Bawumia’s Central Region tour, Rev. Fordjour emphasized that leadership is ultimately determined by God, not by tribal or religious affiliations.
“My brothers and sisters, my elders, I beg of you – just take a look at all the leaders in the NPP, and also at those who have announced their intention to lead the NDC, and compare. Tell me, who among them, if we put them up against Dr. Bawumia, can stand him? Who? There’s nobody.”
According to him, the Vice President’s resilience, humility, and vision are clear signs of God’s hand upon his life.
He raises those He has destined to fulfill His purpose, and in Dr. Bawumia, we see a chosen leader,” Rev. Fordjour stated.
He urged the party delegates to rally behind the former Vice President as he positions himself to lead the nation, stressing that Dr. Bawumia’s track record in digital transformation, economic reforms, and social interventions are all testimonies of divine guidance.
Other speakers included Hon Asamoah Boateng, Nana Akomea, Sammi Awuku and Ophelia Quansah Hayford, Fmr MP for Mfantseman
