NPP members return after ‘mistakenly’ joining Alan’s Movement for Change

Over 6,480 members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), known as the 50+1 PACK group, who joined Alan Kyeremanten’s Movement for Change have reversed course and returned to their party.

The group after the party’s Presidential Primaries moved from the NPP to support Hon. Alan Kyeremanten’s Movement for Change, a move they now describe as a big mistake.

Addressing a presser in Accra at the International Press Center, Convenor of the 50+1 PACK group, Alfred Ababio Kumi said accessing some speeches and policies by all the Presidential Candidates, they have realized the Flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia is the one who can lead this country.

“It has become evidently clear that we made a mistake; a mistake that we humbly admit and are ready to work to ensure that its dire effect is reversed or averted.

“Since the February 7, 2024 speech by the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, we have been asking ourselves questions that bother on the future of this country and the very Ghana that we young people want,” he stated
