NPP Presidential Race

Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has reaffirmed his commitment to uniting all party members and contenders after the NPP presidential primaries to ensure a decisive victory in the 2028 general elections.

Addressing delegates on the third day of his “Our Journey Together” tour of the Bono East Region, Dr. Bawumia underscored the importance of cohesion within the NPP, describing unity as the party’s most vital tool for retaining power.

He stressed that his leadership approach is centered on inclusion and respect, noting that a united front will be key to consolidating the party’s gains and advancing its development agenda beyond 2028.

He stated,After the primaries, there will be no camps. We are one family with one goal — to continue the progress we’ve started and secure victory for the NPP in 2028.”

Dr. Bawumia noted that the strength of the party lies in its unity, discipline, and shared vision for national development. According to him, the upcoming primaries should be seen as an internal contest of ideas, not personal rivalry.

He urged all aspirants and their supporters to prioritize the party’s collective interest over individual ambitions, adding that his focus remains on building a strong, united front capable of delivering prosperity and continuity for Ghanaians.

The team is currently in Nkoranza North and will end today’s tour at Nkoranza South.
