Senior Partner of Accra-based Corporate Law firm, Africa Legal Associates (ALA) and Owner of the News Statesman Newspaper, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko has expressed disappointment in the parliamentary performance of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Although the EC is yet to declare who the majority in parliament will be, it appears the NDC came very close to the numbers as compared to that of the NPP.
In a Facebook post, he wrote,” Loads of flips & flops on both sides. Both NPP & NDC have a lot to get in a flap over. NPP’s parliamentary performance was very disappointing. A very, very narrow escape there. But Mahama even more disappointed.”
In another post, he also wrote that,” When all is done, NDC has every reason to be prod of what the have achieved in these elections. You may not have flipped parliament and won the presidency but you’ve done very well.”
